RideReady is an independent iOS app that shows weather conditions along a motorcycle route. This policy explains what the app collects, where that data goes, and what it doesn't do.
All of the above is stored locally on your device. The app has no backend server. If you delete the app, everything above is removed with it. You can also delete individual rides and routes from within the app at any time.
To answer "what's the weather along this route", the app sends parts of your route to the following public APIs. These services receive coordinates, not any identifier for you.
api.weather.gov) —
receives individual latitude/longitude points to return forecasts.
No API key, no account.api.open-meteo.com) —
used as a fallback outside U.S. coverage. Receives coordinates.
No API key, no account.router.project-osrm.org) —
used to "snap" a drawn route to roads. Receives the route's waypoints.
No API key, no account.nominatim.openstreetmap.org) —
used to resolve place names when importing a Google Maps link.
Receives the place name or coordinates being looked up.
No API key, no account. Each service has its own privacy practices; please consult their respective policies if you'd like details. The app does not send your rider profile, ride history, photos, or any device identifier to any service.
RideReady is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
If this policy changes materially, the effective date above will change and the new policy will be reachable from the App Store listing and from the app's About screen.
